Shona Sturrock RVNNurse

Shona has been nursing for many years and joined the VHC in 2003.

She can mainly be seen working in the Chepstow surgery.

From an early age Shona knew she wanted to work with animals and started her career working in a local pet shop.

She then became qualified by studying Animal Management at Usk College, before starting her RVN veterinary nurse career.

Shona is keen to help charities that are dear to her, and recently completed a 15 mile walk for breast cancer. In addition, she volunteered to dress up as a chicken for the recent Comic Relief events at the VHC!

At home Shona also looks after several animals rehomed from the VHC – including a stray cat called ‘Kitty’.
