Hayley Cameron SVNNurse

Hayley has always wanted to do a job she loves and in 2009 decided to change her career direction and study Animal Management at Hartpury College.

Hayley joined the team in Chepstow in March 2011 on work experience and enjoyed it so much she ended up staying!

Since being at the VHC she has gained a lot of valuable experience and is due to start her RVN nurse training in January 2014. She also does an excellent job in keeping all of our customers up to date with news about the VHC via our Facebook page!

In some of her spare time Hayley raises money for charities close to her heart, most recently for Cancer Research UK by taking part in the 24hour Relay for Life. This is an annual event which raised over £60,000 this year.

Hayley also gets involved in various charity events at work, one being a charity ‘dog wash’ which raised money for Comic Relief.

Her love for animals extends to caring for several at home – including 2 rabbits, 1 Guinea Pig and 3 cats – one of which is a stray called Munchkin that was re-homed from the VHC.
